The gospel is the power of God for complete salvation. More than rescue from hell, it restores us to God’s original intention: eternal fellowship with the Triune God. Salvation includes atonement, justification, regeneration, union with Christ, sanctification, and glorification. At the center stands the cross, where God’s holiness and love meet. Sin required judgment, and at Calvary justice was satisfied, wrath absorbed, and redemption secured. Justification is a once-for-all legal verdict that removes condemnation and gives believers an unchanging righteous status in Christ. From that secure standing flows regeneration and union with Christ—the inner miracle of new birth and shared life with Him. Sanctification is deliverance from sin’s power, not through striving but by yielding to the indwelling Spirit and living from the new self. The gospel is not elementary or outdated; it is God’s active power from beginning to end, saving to the uttermost and bringing us ultimately to God Himself.
